Springhouse Farm - Valle Crucis, NC
My Dad bought this farm on Clark's Creek Rd in the fall of 1965
from Cling Townsend. A large chunk of my summers were spent roaming these
dirt roads and cow trails. He sold the farm in the fall of 1977 to
Bill & Carol Wilson, who had rented the place from him for some years.
It was the Wilsons who gave it the name Springhouse Farm. Though Bill &
Carol have left the farm, it is still run by their 2 daughters.
